Ann Godley, B.A., M.Ed.

Co-Founder and Executive Director

Originally from Iowa, Ann has held education leadership positions at American Schools in Belgium, Singapore, Mexico and Abu Dhabi. She completed her Master’s Degree in Education at Michigan State University and is an expert in curriculum and instruction for early years education. Ann is loved by students and staff and is the heart of the Mt. Elizabeth experience.

Rob Godley, B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., M.Ed.

Co-Founder and President

Originally from Toronto, Rob is a dedicated, tireless community leader who has dedicated the past 25 years to excellence in global education. Rob has held leadership positions with American schools around the world including the International School of Brussels, Singapore American School, the American School of Mexico City and the American International School in Abu Dhabi. He is passionate about teacher development, mentoring aspiring leaders and leading by example.

Ms. Samantha

Director

Ms. Samantha brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of Early Childhood Education. She holds a BA in ECE and as a mother herself, she understands the importance of providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our little ones.

Her impressive background includes serving as both an Assistant Director and Director at a well-respected childcare center here in Georgia.

We are confident that her knowledge and passion for early childhood development greatly contribute to the exceptional care and education we strive to provide for the children in our care.

Ms. Cathie

Director of Admissions

Ms. Cathie is the Director of Admissions at Mt. Elizabeth Academy. A native of Toronto, Canada, Ms. Cathie is a Canadian at heart; however, she has happily called Georgia home since 1992. She and her husband David have been blessed with a blended family of three beautiful children and two wonderful grandchildren. When she isn’t working with teachers and students at Mt. Elizabeth you can find her working in her large organic year-round vegetable garden and creating fun “fairy dish gardens” complete with fairies and gnomes. Meditation and the Lord play a big part in Ms. Cathie’s life. She has attended the same meditation class for the last 20 years and is a strong believer in having balance in life.

Ms. Cathie has a passion for children and has many years of experience teaching children in her church as well as volunteering at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, where she was trained to work with children in their Cancer Center. In addition, she has over twenty years of business management experience that she uses to help run and maintain a vibrant and healthy balance with the business side of Mt. Elizabeth Academy. Ms. Cathie can be seen pouring her love into the children of Mt. Elizabeth Academy throughout her day.

Her favorite children’s book is “The Napping House” by Audrey Wood.

Ms. Laura is a dedicated educator from Woodstock with deep roots in Iowa. Holding a degree in Early Childhood Education, she boasts over 25 years of hands-on experience in childcare. Her passion for nurturing young minds is evident in every interaction.

A proud mother of two college-aged daughters, Ms. Laura understands the importance of strong family connections. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and crafting, showcasing her creativity and attention to detail.

With her compassionate approach and strong leadership skills, Ms. Laura fosters meaningful relationships with both children and parents. Her extensive experience and genuine care make her an invaluable part of our team, dedicated to the success and growth of our early learning center.

Ms. Donna

Curriculum Coach

Ms. Donna is an integral part of the Mount Elizabeth Academy family, serving as our Curriculum Coach and focusing on the social and academic development of each child, while developing the pedagogical talents of our teachers. With a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and extensive experience as both an educator and administrator, she is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and enriching environment in our community.

Throughout her time with us, Donna has drawn on her impressive background, including previous roles as Interim Assistant Director of Extended Day and Summer Learning, as well as an Equity Coach and Literacy Coach. She has successfully developed and implemented innovative programs that enhance learning experiences and promote holistic growth for our students.

We are grateful for Donna’s ongoing contributions and unwavering dedication, which continue to elevate the exceptional care and education we provide to the children and families in our community.
